WHPC Combined Training Success!
What an amazing two events we have had so far of the WHPC Cutting Edge Digital Combined Training Series. Over two days of March 5th and May 13th we had an impressive 250 dressage tests and show jumping classes completed by over 90 rider and horse combinations.
During the series, riders choose to compete in individual dressage and show jump classes or in the series leader board classes that consist of one dressage and one show jump class combination. Series leader board riders attending at least 2 of 3 of the events compete for the overall age group series placing at the end of the three-day series.
Placegetters down to 6th place are rewarded with ribbons or rosettes and prizes, with thanks to our generous sponsors as this always makes for very happy riders.
The series has been wonderfully supported by club members to date, with many of our members riding their first ever dressage test or showjumping round! Some of our youngest members have stepped up from event 1 to event 2 riding independently off-lead, well done Imogen Royce riding Hollie and Hannah Viney riding Grace. We had many riders achieve their qualifications for PCWA State Dressage Championships over the two competitions with the top percentage going to our very own 6yr old Clara Dagostino and Teddy riding a stunning Prelim 1.2 at event 2 for the judge to award 70%+ WOW!
The third and final day of the series will take place on August 20th and will offer individual dressage and show jumping classes, as well as the series leader board class combinations. There will be ribbons for the individual dressage and jumping classes as well as rosettes and prizes for the series classes down to 6th place. The overall series age group winners will be presented with the special WHPC custom rosettes and some amazing prizes.
We are not stopping there! The Wanneroo Horse & Pony Club Fundraiser Raffle Prize Winners will be drawn at event 3:
