We’re excited for another fantastic rally packed with learning, fun and plenty of pony time! We’re thrilled to welcome Kristy from Equitouch Sports Massage Therapy with Kristy, who will be sharing her expertise in horsemanship and equine massage, helping our riders learn how to keep their ponies happy, healthy and performing at their best.
Jazmin Anderson will be running engaging games lessons for all levels, from our leadliners and desensitisation groups through to our more adventurous riders. Leah McCoy will be taking riders out on the cross-country course, while Morag Gemmel will focus on developing skills and confidence through flatwork sessions. Taylah Hurren will be working with our leadliners before guiding some of the older riders through pole work exercises.
A special highlight of the day will see our older riders partnering with the leadliners for a horsemanship session, teaching them the correct way to approach and handle their ponies while building awareness and safety around other horses. These mentoring opportunities have been a huge success, with both the younger and older riders thoroughly enjoying the chance to learn from and support one another.
